 PositionHuman Resource Coordinator (FT)

Job Duties: Serve as primary recruiting/staffing coordinator, to include: sourcing candidates, screening applications, facilitating pre-employment background and reference checks, preparing offer letters, and delivering new employee onboarding and orientation. This position will manage the hotel’s internal communication materials, such as the property e-Newsletter, as well as managing DoubleTree brand required programs and compliance tracking. In addition, the HRC will be responsible for planning hotel functions, such as our Annual Employee Awards Banquet and Summer Picnic, as well as managing all recognition programs (property specific and DoubleTree/Hilton national recognition programs). This position will provide support and assistance with employee relations issues, as well as a variety of other general HR inquiries. Some clerical duties and data-entry will also be required. The HRC will assist with the hotel’s safety initiatives, benefits and training.

Department: CONVENTION SERVICES 

 PositionConvention Services Manager (FT)

Job Duties: Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with group sales and/or catering sales, hotel departments, and customer to ensure consistent, high level service throughout pre-event, event and post event phases of hotel events. Ensures all hotel events have a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales. Establishes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events. Plan, organize, and manage the in house details for all group and convention bookings (i.e. guest rooms, menus, set-up, etc.) Participate in negotiating meetings/functions, rooms, rates and all related requirements. Ensure maximization of room and meeting space, revenues, and profits while delivering a quality product. Report and critique all activities to the Director of Convention Services or Director of Sales. Enliven the Westmont Standards within the Department and the hotel. Support all Corporate and hotel initiatives as needed.

Qualifications: Candidate must have 3-5 years hotel or meeting planner experience. Knowledge of front office, meeting room/banquet set-up, and food and beverage requirements as well as catering sales and/or service manager experience a plus. Must have ability to manage guest room blocks, as well as possess strong organizational/problem solving/communication (verbal and written) skills. Hours are generally M-F 8-5, though weekends and evenings will be required (as necessary) so flexibility in scheduling is required. Basic office equipment knowledge & computer skills including MS Office, Word & Excel are required. Must have hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor. Delphi knowledge is preferred. On Q knowledge may be helpful, though not required but experience with front desk system is required.  PositionGuest Relations Manager (FT)

Job Duties: Assists the Director of Services by overseeing the responsibilities of the Front Desk staff. Ensuring that the guests are being serviced in a professional and competent manner. Ensures proper staffing levels of Front Desk Agents/Guest Service Agents by assisting Director of Services in preparing weekly schedule and maintaining proper documentation (time cards, disciplinary procedures, reviews, etc). Assists the Director of Services by handling special requests, group blocking and unusual circumstances. Communicates with the Housekeeping Department and Engineering Department regarding guest rooms, maintenance and requests.

Qualifications: Must have previous cash handling, customer service, and supervisory experience, along with "On-Q-Training" (Doubletree property management system). Job Duties: Greets and registers guests, provides prompt and courteous service, and closes out guest accounts upon completion of stay, as well as ensuring the guest has an exceptional stay, to meet hotel’s high standards of quality.

Job Duties: Responsible for serving food and beverage in a professional manner at assigned banquet functions.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand and walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods. Job Duties:Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas such as the linen room and laundry areas at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.   Position includes cleaning up to twenty or more rooms a day in limited time, while also passing "white glove" inspections. 

Qualifications:Must be able to follow verbal instructions. Six months successful hotel housekeeping experience or six months of full-time work experience requiring physical skill and exertion (for example: janitorial, warehouse, agricultural or light industrial) required.
