Job Duties: Responsible for cooking of soups, sauces, banquet food and kitchen sanitation. 

Qualifications: At least 2+ years line and prep cooking experience in restaurant or school setting required. Must have banquet experience and be able to multi-task. Job Duties: To complete banquet prep functions and produce/maintain a quality food product. Must use proper food handling and storage techniques and follow all kitchen sanitation standards. Position involves banquet prep, food handling/storage and help with commissary duties in addition to working the restaurant line when necessary. 

Qualifications: Must have six (6) months of kitchen (prep/line/school) experience. Job Duties: To prepare all of the food items in our premier Gather restaurant while ensuring quality food, nice presentations and good tasting food from every item prepared.

Department: CONVENTION SERVICES

PositionSr Convention Services Manager (FT)

Job Duties: To increase profits by generating business and room sales through aggressive sales efforts, discretion and judgment. Service accounts and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications: Candidate must have 3-5 years hotel or meeting planner experience, along with 2 years of Convention Services or Catering management experience required. Knowledge of front office, meeting room/banquet set-up, and food and beverage requirements as well as hotel sales is a plus. Must have ability to manage guest room blocks, as well as possess strong organizational/problem solving/communication (verbal and written) skills. Hours are generally M-F 8 - 5, though weekends and evenings will be required, as necessary, so flexibility in scheduling is required. Basic office equipment knowledge and computer skills including MS Office, Word, and Excel are required. Delphi knowledge and OnQ experience preferred.  Must have hospitality focused qualities and a courteous demeanor. PositionGuest Services Agent (1 PT, 1 FT)

Job Duties: Responsible for assisting guests with luggage, answering general questions (e.g., directions, hotel amenities, navigating Portland), and assisting guest shuttle service and valet. 

Qualifications: Must have or be able to obtain a valid Driver's License before start of employment. Must be able to work AM and PM shifts with minimal schedule restrictions (typically between the hours of 5:00am - 11:00pm, or as necessary to meet business demands), including weekends and holidays. Job Duties: Responsible to greet guests in a friendly manner, set up and promptly clear tables, as well as stock service stations and maintain the buffet as assigned. Will also assist in general cleaning and maintenance of the banquets department.

Qualifications: Stand & Walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods. Lift, carry or push heavy equipment, moving hands & arms easily and quickly, moving up to fifty (50) pounds with frequent twisting, bending and lifting. Department: HOUSEKEEPING

PositionHousekeeping Room Attendant (FT)

Job Duties: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas, such as the linen room and laundry areas, at a level that meets or exceeds the company standards. Position includes cleaning up to twenty or more rooms a day in limited time, while also passing the "white glove" inspections. 

Qualifications: Six (6) months of successful hotel housekeeping experience or six (6) months of full-time work experience requiring physical skill and exertion (for example; janitorial, warehouse, agricultural, or light industrial) required. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and push a 200 lb. cart repetitively also required. Must be able to work day shifts 8:00am - 6:00pm, including weekends/holidays, or as necessary to meet business needs. Must have hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor.  Must actively support the hotel’s environmentally responsible business practices and embrace our Declaration of Excellence.
