Department: Executive Office

Position: Director of Operations

Job Duties: Administers, directs, and controls the operation of the Rooms Department, while assisting with the management of all hotel operations. Serves as General Manager in GM's absence. Represents the hotel on business and community Boards. 

Qualifications: 5 to 10 years of hotel management experience, with at least 2 years at the Director level required.  Must have extensive experience with the Rooms Division (i.e., Housekeeping, Front Office, Reservations) as well as familiarity with Food and Beverage and Sales departments.  Must demonstrate outgoing, customer-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor.  Motivation of the staff, creativity, and inspiring excellence with the guest experience is also required. Must also formulate new and aggressive revenue generating programs. Must be willing to actively suppport the hotel's environmentally responsible business practices and champion the hotel's Declaration of Excellence.  Schedule flexibility is required as AM, PM, and weekend shifts will be necessary, depending on business demands. This position requires travel and candidate must be able to relocate.

PositionRestaurant Room Service Server (PT)

Job Duties: To serve food and beverages to customers who choose to dine in their hotel rooms while providing courteous, professional, efficient service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Qualifications: Candidate must be able to meet high physical demands of the position, including lifting up to twenty-five (25) lbs. and standing for long periods of time. A good work ethic, team player approach and ability to work in a fast paced environment required. Must have hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demenaor. Must have availability to be scheduled for Part Time AM and PM shifts with minimal schedule restrictions, including weekends and holidays. Must have a valid foodhandler's and OLCC card prior to start of employment. Must be willing to cross-train into other areas of the restaurant. Must actively support the hotel’s environmentally responsible business practices and our Declaration of Excellence.

Position: Sales Manager (FT)

Job Duties: To increase profits by generating business and room sales through agressive sales efforts, descretion and judgement.

Qualifications: Previous direct sales experience, aggressive, outgoing personality, proven record of independent, self motivated work habits and desire to succeed in a highly competitive environment, effective time management principles and organizational skills, strong English writing skills and proven verbal communication abilities. Candidate must be willing to work AM/PM/weekend shifts as necessary and travel as needed.  Must have dedication to extaordinary customer service and professionalism as well as hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor.  Hotel sales experience and four-year college degree in related field very helpful, though not required. Position: Guest Relations Manager (FT)

Job Duties: To assist the Front Office Director and/or the Director of Guest Services by overseeing the responsibilities of the front desk staff. Ensure the guests are being serviced in a professional and competent manner.

Qualifications: Previous cash handling and customer service experience required, with supervisory experience preferred.  Must be available to work AM/PM shifts 7 days a week including holidays with minimal schedule restrictions. Must have hospitality focused qualities and a courteous demeanor. A valid drivers license is required.  OnQ training preferred. Must actively support the hotel’s environmentally responsible business practices and our Declaration of Excellence.

Job Duties: Responsible for overseeing all of the food service and liquor controls for all banquet functions.

Qualifications: Strong knowledge of banquet beverage, food serivice and meeting room setups required. Good communication and customer service skills needed. Must have hospitality-focused qualities and a courteous demeanor.  Valid Food Handler's and OLCC card required at start of employment. Must be available to work AM/PM shifts 7 days a week including holidays.
