PositionCatering Sales Manager (FT)

Job Duties: The Catering Sales Manager solicits, negotiates and books new and repeat business through efforts (sales calls, telemarketing, mailings, networking, etc...) while maximizing banquet space to meet/exceed revenue goals. Executes a territorial marketing strategy to capture the maximum amount of revenue and meet/exceed sales goals. Plans, upsells and details the meeting/function with the client including: space requirements, times, equipment, menus, themes/decorations, etc...Completes the contracts, prepares the appropriate paperwork, coordinates with the appropriate areas in the hotel, and resolve any issues, complaints and problems to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of corporate/hotel procedures and products and the competition's product, strengths and weaknesses to continually improve sales strategies and the achievement of goals.

Qualifications:  Requirements include proven record of aggressive & successful direct sales experience along with strong F & B & event planning knowledge/experience. PositionSales Manager (FT)

Job Duties: Sells all product lines of the hotel including catering, rooms, packages, lounge and restaurant promotions. Maximize revenue through appropriate negotiations with customer. Solicits business, qualifies their needs and forwards business to the appropriate Sales/Catering Manager. Solicits accounts within the market segment by utilizing outside solicitation and telephone solicitation. Target accounts with viability for business. Meets budget and booking goals monthly.

Job Duties: Responsible for serving food and beverage in a professional manner at assigned banquet functions.

Qualifications: Must be able to stand and walk for varying lengths of time, sometimes for long periods. Ability to lift & carry very large trays up to thirty (30) pounds above shoulder, with frequent twisting, bending, lifting, reaching. Job Duties: Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information such as outlet hours and local attractions. Complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs. Code electronic keys, certificates, and coupons as appropriate. Requires continual standing and movement throughout front office areas. Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash; make change and balance as assigned house bank. Accept and record vouchers, travelers’ checks, and other forms of payment. Perform accurate, moderately complex arithmetic functions using a calculator. Post charges to guest rooms and house accounts using the computer.Close guest accounts at the time of check out and ensure guest’s satisfaction. In the event of dissatisfaction, research and attempt to resolve problem within established guidelines, may include turning problem over to a supervisor. Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and resolve complications such as location changes or credit issues. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating and air conditioning, etc. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Job Duties:Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms, public areas, back of the house areas such as the linen room and laundry areas at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.   Position includes cleaning up to twenty or more rooms a day in limited time, while also passing "white glove" inspections. 

Qualifications:Must be able to follow verbal instructions. Six months successful hotel housekeeping experience or six months of full-time work experience requiring physical skill and exertion (for example: janitorial, warehouse, agricultural or light industrial) required.
